STCW - GMDSS Radio Operator

Description

The STCW - Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) Radio Operator is an endorsement that is required to hold a position onboard a vessel with a Global Maritime Distress and Safety System. A GMDSS Radio Operator's License issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is not required for issuance of STCW but is required for employment as a GMDSS Operator.
