Certified Postsecondary Instructor

Description

The CPI examination assesses whether someone with at least 6 months experience as a postsecondary instructor (i.e. beyond high school) has the skills necessary to plan, implement, and evaluate learning. It requires that candidates possess a general knowledge of education theory and practice, particularly adult education. This exam looks ONLY at teaching skills. It is for any instructor at the postsecondary level, no matter what subject s/he teaches.
